Escapade was Tim Finn's debut solo release following his time as founding member and lead songwriter of the legendary New Zealand band Split Enz and set the tone for the illustrious, inimitable and successful solo-career that was to follow.Â
Featuring the hit singles 'Fraction Too Much Friction' 'Staring At The Embers' and 'Made My Day' as well as fan favourite 'In A Minor Key' the album had a red-hot list of guest musicians such as Wilbur Wilde, Venetta Fields, Vince Gill, Joe Camilleri, Mark Moffatt and Ricky Fataar.
