Capturing the band in a moment of creative freedom, Top Heavy showcases a fresh sonic direction through recent singles “So Excited” and “State of Hawaii”, pushing beyond even the sound of their latest full-length release. The songs were written and recorded quickly, embracing instinct and immediacy rather than overthinking the process.
As frontman Benny Reed explains, the EP came together organically, with several tracks forming on the spot and recorded while the energy was still raw.
